It is a terrific book for boys....or girls who want to know how real men behave in the face of adversity. And little Ralph today would be anesthetized with ritalin and told to be quiet and sit still at his desk.
I'm going to look for this book at the library. In fact I have 'Boys Should be Boys'by Meg Meeker on hold for me now and am excited to read it.
